- Originally from Montreal, Canada, she lives and works in Israel. Karen has been involved in the field of EFL for the past 15 years. As an educator she has taught English to
grades 6 – 12. She has authored 2 English textbooks, created EFL games and is currently working as a teacher trainer and IT co-ordinator. Karen is very interested in the positive powers of the
Internet and initiated a global multi – cultural Internat project called Friends and Flags. During the Multimedia Summer Camp, Karen plans to expose students to authentic uses of English Language, by
engaging the in exciting online learning adventures. Students will explore different countries and cultures, participate in interactive surveys and forums, create PowerPoint presentations and develop
and contribute to their own online magazine which will reflect their participation in the multimedia summer camp.
