_{Meeting the mayor}

 Both the organizers and the participants attending  the Multimedia Summer Camp 2001, were honored by the presence of the Mayor of Baia Mare, who addressed the participants on Tuesday , the 17th July, at the county Council Hall.

 _{The Mayor expressed his gratitude towards the organizers of the camp and recognized the importance of Multimedia training in today’s changing society. He mentioned that his council was a leader in encouraging such development and he is proud that his county was one of the first institutions in the region which had it’s own web-page. He was thankful both to Mariana Hudrea and all the organizers of the camp, as well as to the foreign participants and trainers coming from seven other countries, namely Israel, Bulgaria, Malta, Turkey, United States, Macedonia and Moldova.}
